TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language)
Students who wish to pursue their college and university programs mostly in the United States and Canada can appear this test. However, the TOEFL is accepted by most institutions in other countries where English is a first language for teaching and learning.

TOEFL test (PBT)
Toefl has 4 sections, listening, structure, reading and writing. Listening section comprises of 30 to 49 questions which are 15 to 25 minutes for each. Listening section tests your understanding of verbal communication skills. Structure section consists of 20 questions which must be attempted within 15 minutes. Reading sections and writing section consists of 44 questions and 1 essay topic. In Reading Section, students are required to choose correct option out of four options. Time period for both reading and writing sections are 70 and 30 minutes respectively.

Computer-adaptive Test (CBT)
The TOEFL is available as a computer-adaptive test. This is how it works: instead of having a pre-determined mixture of easy, medium, and hard questions, the computer will select questions for you based on how well you are doing. The first question will be of medium difficulty; if you get it right, the second question will be selected from a large group of questions that are a little harder; if you get the first question wrong, the second will be a little easier. The result is that the test automatically adjusts to your skill level. But the Reading Comprehension is not computer adaptive. The Tough questions have more credit than easier ones.
Internet-based Testing (IBT)
The new TOEFL test will be delivered via the Internet. Internet-based testing (IBT) allows ETS to capture speech and score responses in a standardized and fair manner. It will also make it possible to greatly expand test center access

SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test)
SAT program assesses undergraduate students' aptitude in both verbal and quantitative skills in three areas: critical reading, writing and math. The SAT is 3-hour 45-minute test. Although most of the questions are multiple choices, students are required to write a 25-minutes essay.

What is SAT?
SAT test consists of three sections, math, critical reading and reading section. Math section tests covers Basic arithmetic, Algebra I & II, Geometry. Calculator use is allowed, but it is not required. Critical reading sections comprises of 67 multiple-choice questions, sentence completion and reading comprehension question. This section is 70 minutes long. Writing sections consists of 49 questions which are 60 minutes long and comprises multiple choice questions and an essay.
